Spoleto's recent flirtation with Chinese opera actually goes back to 2003, when Chen Shi Zheng (who directed 2004's 'The Peony Pavilion') presented the short two-person Chinese tale 'Ghost Lovers' in the Garden Theatre.It was a good appetizer for 'Peony,' and, at just an hour, about one-eighteenth the length...
